Yes, the show short-circuited the nuance (I have written literally 100 pieces about the differences between the books and the show, it is a frequent complaint for me). That is why I took pains to explain that the show and the books look at it differently, I did not use them interchangeably, been a week or so, but I used them in context of show vs. books (pretty sure).

No reason you should know that, but I am pretty down with the books and the supplementary books as well. It is a complex universe, and I probably make mistakes, but I usually ask questions of more qualified folks when I am not sure (see the embedded tweet in the post).

That said, I think we were in agreement from the beginning (which is cool).
