Who Are These “True Americans?”

One of Many Interesting POTUS Retweets Today

Retweets are not Endorsements?

So, POTUS was really busy on the Twitter machine today and the press has been going crazy about his RT of this Tweet:

And I can certainly understand why.

It is upsetting that he is both celebrating someone else’s misfortune and endorsing mean-spirited humor at the expense of HRC (will RT’s of fart jokes by next?).

I am not sure this is really an endorsement of violence but, at the same time, does the President of the United States really need to be spreading messages that could be taken by any random nut job as a Presidential endorsement of violence against HRC?

Probably not.

That said, I was also disturbed by this RT which I have seen nobody else mention yet:

I have zero problem with Ms. Fenty supporting Donald Trump (we all have a right to support our chosen politicians). But I am very curious about what makes someone a “True American” and why a President who has been calling for national unity on a regular basis is endorsing the idea that only some American’s are legitimate.

In fact, after POTUS and his press Secretary both blasted ESPN’s Jamelle Hill for calling him a racist and after months of proto-fascist statements and calls for restrictions on the freedom of the press, I wonder how it clears anything up to be using the most powerful Twitter account in the world to endorse the idea that only some citizens are “True Americans?”

So, I ask, with respect, what exactly makes someone a “True American?”
