Which as I have suggested seems to be the (undescribed) difference between greenseeing and green dreaming (or it just hasn’t been well-described in either version of the ASOIAF universe). ADWD is also where 3EC says you can’t change the past :) I was going to write more about this later today, hopefully, I will get to it (I pulled out ADWD earlier today specifically to go back through all the references for a post).

I also fully acknowledged in the piece and comments that this seems to be a difference between the show and the books (GRRM said this week that GoT is fully off on its own now).

Either way, it isn’t the ability to time-travel or literally BE in the past which was my point.
