What books are they reading indeed!

As I just wrote in my follow up, some of the folks on Reddit who wrote and conceived the original “Bran = Night King” theory did some heavy lifting to make it work (and much of it was really thoughtful). The problem, for me, is that Bran just doesn’t time travel and time travel (or being able to Warg folks in the past) is critical to the theory making sense.

To be 100% honest, if Benioff and Weiss were as thoughtful about all of the choices that they made as the folks who came up with “Bran = Night King” I would probably be less frustrated on a regular basis (I might disagree with the choices but at least I would understand them).
