- Would take me a million years to break this one down, but the reason we have trade agreements and a WTO is because nations have trade issues that generally need to be resolved through rules and structures. Large chunks of that structure are being dismantled or ignored.
2. I would suggest the book Soft Power by Joseph Nye, probably 1000 examples in that book alone. Heck just look at the PEPFAR program George W. Bush implemented if you want to see one of a billion examples of the importance of diplomacy and of international engagement. Or if you want something more foundational try Nixon’s trip and opening with China. If you actually don’t believe this, ask any General or Admiral.

Again, this seems like trolling to me, he has constantly attacked the free press, his justice department is for civil asset forfeiture, he is for militarizing the police and against civilian control of the military. His voter panel is using junk science to defend voter suppression, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Time and time again in speeches he has conflated Rule of Law with Law and Order (which is scary fascist).
