The Magnificent 7 bit is classic Benioff and Weiss, they have an idea that seems fun to them and they make it happen no matter what it does to the logic of the character universe. Fun at what cost?

For me, the more my brain is screaming “BS” the less entertained I am.

For many others it is all about the spectacle (which is very much why the Fast and Furious movies are wildly popular) regardless of the accompanying logic. Game of Thrones almost always delivers spectacle, I just liked it better when it delivered spectacle grounded in careful plotting more.
