Not entirely sure we disagree at all?

I think I mentioned this but there is a difference between the books (warging vs. skinchanging) and the show which conflates the two. In other words, while I agree with you, the show decided to get rid of the nuance between warging and skinchanging.

In addition, while a skinchanger and warg could possess a person, it is incredibly difficult to do so and many theorized that Bran could only possess Hodor because he was “simple.”

That said, pretty sure we mostly agree (and I am pretty sure I mentioned the difference between books and show, but if I didn’t apologies).
