Interesting in that the original Defiant Ones wasn’t exactly without it’s critical detractors. Also amazing how so many media companies are getting other media companies to create “advertorial” style documentaries.
I am absolutely not saying that Dre & Iovine were not incredibly important, and I have yet to watch the series, I am only suggesting it sounds a bit like the result is both interesting and a four-part HBO produced ad for Beats/Apple.
