I get to write articles about whatever I want to write about.

You don’t have to read them and if you do read them, you have every right to comment on them. I even try to engage with even critical responses(as this discussion demonstrates) whenever I can.

So, okay, my snarky response:

What I suspect you really mean is that you don’t like the move towards greater demographic inclusion and unless someone writes what you think is appropriate (diversity as minor sidebar) you excoriate them in an insulting, paternalistic, hectoring, and dismissive manner.

Or, this is a “I have to win every argument” regardless of the importance of my ultimate point, thing?

Oh, and do you really think kids don’t watch PG-13 movies these days? Or that MCU didn’t intend kids to watch the Avenger’s

And now my more human response:

I don’t understand your hostility.

I am just a guy who occasionally writes some stuff on Medium. Sometimes, people really like what I write (see Mr. Robot or Game of Thrones). Most of the time, nobody cares, which is totally fine with me.

I just write because I enjoy writing, I don’t make much money from it.

I have been a sci-fi, fantasy, and comic book nerd my whole life. I actually liked the movie (which has not always been the case, I am still angry about what they did to Ultron). As I have explained many times, I did not call Marvel racist, I said they were being short-sighted.

You have every right to feel whatever you feel. I didn’t write it to diminish your enjoyment of the movie or anyone else’s. If you don’t agree, that is fine with me.
