I agree with most of the points here EXCEPT the one about white men just taking it?

1. If you don’t like what someone says about your (or my) white maleness, you can comment or write a response, no?
2. The vast-majority of the things I read about toxic masculinity and the concept of whiteness seem annoyingly fair.

As for the rest, yes, it sucks that you can’t predict Medium at all (either from the perspective of the payment algorithm or the distribution algorithm) and that Medium seems to have found a way to allow corporations to dominate the platform.
