I agree 110%, the occasional need to suspend disbelief is almost always necessary in any show, but over the last three seasons B&W seem to be willing to do real violence to logic and character logic to get from GRRM’s point A to B&W’s point B.

And let’s not forget, part of what made GRRM’s vision so impressive (and daunting) was his amazing attention to detail.

They create battles that couldn’t have happened (supposedly because they love history), fleets of ships that don’t follow the characters origins (the Iron Islands are coastal raiders except for Euron who had a few ships), and now the ability to bend time and space to be in two places faster than the opponents can reach one.

I feel like it shows real contempt for the audience.
