I can’t add anything to your exhaustive exploration of the rape kits problem, but I can comment on Law and Order.

The ubiquitous nature of Law and Order (in all forms) has done more propaganda damage than almost anything else in pop culture since it started decades ago.

The Law and Order franchise fundamentally misrepresents the true nature of the criminal justice system purposely and it has fundamentally argued, for decades, that the biggest obstacle to justice is maintaining the protections enshrined in the Bill of Rights.

Nobody who has EVER been through the system would agree with 90% of the nonsense they trot out there week after week but that is literally how the majority of Americans experience the “truth” of the CJ System.

Shame on everyone associated with that show.
