Interviews Sometimes Do Not Go The Way You Plan Them
I have written Sam Esmail before and his responses often continued until they turned into interviews.
In fact, every other time I have chatted him up online it has always worked out so spectacularly well that the results went on to spark great discussions between me and many other Mr. Robot fans here and on Reddit.
I have no idea why sometimes he takes the time to talk to me. Perhaps it is because I was one of the earliest people to jump in writing recaps and stories about Mr. Robot?
Who knows?
For whatever reason, it has always worked out pretty well.
Heck, the first time we talked I was flabbergasted because he directly answered a question about David Lynch that helped me make sense of the Season 2 plot in ways that made me one of the earliest people to figure out that Elliot was in an institution and not at his Mom’s house.
We even talked about music once.
Okay, enough gilding of the lily…a few nights ago, I made a total moron of myself.
