I find it strange that you left out the problem, that I started to raise in this week’s recap, with what I am starting to think of as “Euron Magic” aka his ability to magically be at different ends of the Westeros faster than multiple attackers in different areas (Theon/Yara to Kings Landing to Casterly Rock).

And yes, it was silly for Tyrion to split his forces (it was a dumb plan) but, at the same time, how could he know about Euron’s magical powers and Olenna’s inexplicable decision to not even start to march her troops towards King’s Landing so that they could meet the Dornish forces and encircle the city (keeping them all holed up inside Highgarden seemed quite wise in a time of war).

Also, have you considered the possibility that Bran is gloomy because all Stark and partial Stark males grow up to be Emo? Just thinking out loud, your explanation also makes sense (and I am mostly kidding).
