Yup, ‘obvi’, Civil Rights violations against white university students

The Second Worst Person in the USA

Sure, just a few days ago I predicted Jeff Sessions would soon intervene and mess up the Federal Bureau of Prisons (and was proven right).

Sure, this is compounded because Sessions just appointed yet another Trump Administration General to run the Bureau of Prisons right after the President suggested militarization of our nation’s Police Departments, reversal of our longstanding concept of the Rule of Law, and Police Brutality.

(FYI We are starting to have some real and functional fascism problems here in River City)

But if you had any doubt left as to why Jeff Sessions is the second worst person in the US (second only to his boss), you will never be convinced or this news will do the trick.

Take a second and imagine the top ten Civil Rights problems facing the United States, take your time, I’ll wait…………

Got them? Okay, guess what the new priority of the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division is (and remember assignments at DOJ are zero-sum in that each assigned attorney can only work on the projects they are assigned)?

Drumroll please.

And I quote:

“The Trump administration is preparing to redirect resources of the Justice Department’s civil rights division toward investigating and suing universities over affirmative action admissions policies deemed to discriminate against white applicants, according to a document obtained by The New York Times.”

Yup, you read it correctly, the DOJ is going to “redirect” resources of the “civil rights division” to protecting white university students from discrimination.

So, those resources can’t be used to address structural or functional racism, address police violence, address voter suppression, racist application of civil asset forfeiture and fines and fees, or a million other problems people of color face in the United States. No, the priority will be bringing lawsuits to protect white people at American Universities from reverse discrimination.

Shame on them, how dare they.

Brutal and terrible, shameful, I have lost words to describe these racist jerks.
